Time to make a run

man if we can beat the Jets, we will have some momentum, and lots of bragging rights for the next year or so. My worry is the Pats have a bye week before we play them. That could be bad for us.

ur rite, but just bc ur coming off a bye week dosent mean that u will win. sometimes it throws terams off a rhythm the bye week. just ask the chargers coming off a bye at home vs the broncos on primetime in a must win game and they lost by 11.
 
Beat the Jets tomorrow. That's where it begins. A loss there basically ends the season.

Then take one from the Pats. That should lead to 9-5 heading into tough games in week 16 and 17, but controlling our own destiny.
 
if Ted continues to start, forget us going on a winning streak

The Pats are 8-0 coming off their last 8 byes

I wouldn't compare Norv Turner to Belichick when it comes to preparing their teams when they have 2 weeks to work with.

alrite but my point was just bc ur coming off a bye dosent mean for sure that ur going to win. it can work in 2 ways either being u get well rested and are ready for the game, or a week off u may look a little rusty. also even though 8-0 is a strong record, u have to look at who they played also in those games. i no belichick is a lot better then turner but if we play our game we can beat anybody in the nfl.
 
Except for that 1-15 year, the Phins have managed to play the Pats tough and usually get a split with them.

I'm hoping that Brady gets a bit rusty during this bye, especially after his extended time away last year, and takes another couple games to find that groove again. He was just getting comfy these past couple weeks, and that was against pretty weak teams too.

One game at a time though. Let's take one from the Jets in NY and then worry about the Pats.
 
I might believe this were possible if our schedule this year wasn't so much more difficult.

That said, we have a different cast this year in many areas and you never know what can happen if our defense starts shutting teams down.
 
Well at least we won't be 1-15, at the worst we'll be 2-14
 
We can only afford 2 more losses, ideally it would be the bucs and Panthers.....lol

But most likely, it'll be Pittsburgh and once to the Pats
