Laughing boy really lost it 3 seasons ago. Now it's just sad. Smith played him time after time. He gave them over 30yds in penalties, tackles like a girl can't cover & still has the nerve to do a chest pound when another player makes a simple pass block. He is over paid & should have been dumped instead of Surtain.

cap hit and until we get Poole back and until we draft or go thru FA next season to gain depth at DB to replace Howard, Sam isnt going anywhere.

Penalties are the only thing to complain about. Yes he contributed in that, but CB is the last place we need to weaken ourselves. And the cap hit to boot.

Worst post of the year. Madison is our best corner. Steve Smith is one of the best recievers in the league, and our d-coord consistently put him in 1 on 1 coverage in which a good WR will usually beat a good CB.

Especially consideriing Surtain played this way 13 of the 16 games last year!

That guy Smith almost single handedly beat the Pats in the SB a couple seasons ago.
Having said that, I agree that I would have rather traded Madison and kept Surtain.
