Just in case it wasn't loud and clear, Titans coach Mike Munchak told The Tennessean on Thursday there's no circumstance in which the team will bring back quarterback Vince Young.
Munchak is ready to move on with the team's search for a new starting quarterback, whether that player is found
in next week's NFL Draft or via a veteran free-agent signing. The Titans have remained firm with the decision even with the coaching change from Jeff Fisher in February.
"That was a decision made months ago and nothing that is going to happen personnel-wise, or how the draft goes, is going to change that," Munchak said. "We are standing by that decision. What's been done is best for everybody."
The Titans are prepared to trade or release Young soon after the lockout ends to avoid paying him a $4.25 million bonus.
