Just in case it wasn't loud and clear, Titans coach Mike Munchak told The Tennessean on Thursday there's no circumstance in which the team will bring back quarterback Vince Young.

Munchak is ready to move on with the team's search for a new starting quarterback, whether that player is found
in next week's NFL Draft or via a veteran free-agent signing. The Titans have remained firm with the decision even with the coaching change from Jeff Fisher in February.

"That was a decision made months ago and nothing that is going to happen personnel-wise, or how the draft goes, is going to change that," Munchak said. "We are standing by that decision. What's been done is best for everybody."

The Titans are prepared to trade or release Young soon after the lockout ends to avoid paying him a $4.25 million bonus.

The problem with VY for me is that he is another running QB... I wouldnt want Michael Vick here, and definetly do not want Cam Newton. Look who is winning superbowls. Teams with extremely smart QB's with great arms... Payton, Brady, Rogers, and Brees just to name a few. If for any reason we were to bring in a running QB, I see us being in the same situation we have been in for since Marino left... Always second or third best. We need an intelligent passer, with a great arm, and a great feel for the game... now where do we get him?
