Titans | Offered a Fourth-round Pick for Henry - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 1 Jun 2005 18:53:18 -0700

Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports Tennessee Titans offered the Buffalo Bills a fourth-round draft pick in exchange for RB Travis Henry and the Bills said no thanks. The Bills are sticking by their guns, no third-round pick, and no deal.

Exactly. The Bills prob wont be getting any 3rd round offers, unless somebody gets hurt early. The Bills should of accepted the offer to let him go. IMO, he will be a cancer for the Bills if not traded.

Hmm, when the Dolphins had injury problems, what pick did they trade for Gordon?

Read my post again. I said that if somebody gets hurt then a team would prob give up a 3rd rounder to get Henry.

I agree. I don't think Tennessee is going to give up anything higher than a 4th round pick. And the only other team I can see Henry going to would be Jacksonville, and if they're really desperate because of the loss of Fred Taylor for the season (most likely), I can see them giving up a 3rd round pick. Tennessee could very well be one of the Top 5 worst teams next year if not worth so giving up a 3rd for them could be like a late 2nd. And as for Jacksonville (with a RB), I feel they can be a possibly playoff (wildcard) contender. So a 3rd round pick from them could be like an early 4th. A lot of speculating going on, on my part... but that's how I look at it.

Big difference between Gordon and Henry. Spielman(no longer with the organization  ) wanted Gordon, but the Rams DID NOT want to part with him, so to get him they had to up the offer. Everybody knows now that the Bills are trying to get rid of Henry, which ultimatley, drops his stock.

he will be gone one way or another. he wont be on the bills next season. and i dont even think he in NY, and i dout he has plans of returning. he cant be a canser if we have all moved on.

we have a new RB, and a new backup RB. T. Henry is gone and we all know it. the only thing left is to find a team to trade with. to bad the fins fired their GM, we would have been able to get a 1st rounder for henry.

a young solid proven RB who gets 1300 yards in back to back seasons, is worth more than a 4th rounder.
