The Nashville City Paper reports Tennessee Titans rookie CB Adam Jones is scheduled to appear at court in Georgia Friday, May 13 for a hearing involving an alleged battery charge in the early morning hours of April 27. His agent, Michael Huyghue, said the charges are not true. A judge is expected to rule whether an arrest warrant should be issued in the case. Huyghue said Jones may not even attend the proceedings. "Apparently an allegation was made and later withdrawn. I don't believe this has much validity. This is a non-incident," Huyghue said. "And if there is a court proceeding on Friday, I think you'll see that there's really nothing to this." Titan's officials had no comment on the situation.
