Titans | Permission granted to speak to Mueller
Tue, 23 Jan 2007 22:28:52 -0800
Paul Kuharsky, of the Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans have been granted permission to speak to Miami Dolphins general manager Randy Mueller about the vacant Titans general manager's job.

Nick Saban all over again.......

I know you mean well but this has been posted a couple of times already.

It has been posted that the Titans are interested, not that they had permission. Now they have permission which hadn't been granted to him in the past.

The Titans don't need permission and have only informed the Dolphins out of courtesy. Whether or not Mueller will actually talk to them, remains to be seen. And all that has been posted already ;)

I believe the dolphins only gave him him a 1 year contract ?

Go back and look at the 8-page theread spanned across the last two days on this subject.

Actually, it has been. A few times, and for the last two days.

He is only on a 1 yr contract, I think we should give him an extension.....

Muellers said before, he had no idea the titans were even interested. Although im sick of seeing the saban comparisons to mueller. Mueller doesnt have several years left on his contract, like saban did. Mueller has one. If he was a player, he'd have asked to be traded or he'd be holding out for more money right now. The ridiculous part is that we wouldn't have a problem with the player doing this because we're used to it. But if a GM looks at other options during his final year of his contract, we're all ready to burn him at the stake.

Just hope he stays.... The team is depended of this Draft more then ever. His main interest our QB and Speedy WR, two huge wholes this team has....

They just need to give Randy an extension. That should solve the problem.
