Does TJ return from his suspension week 8 against the Oakland Raiders? Or does he have to wait the extra week until Carolina because of the week 1 bye?

Also, how stoked is everyone to see him back there replacing Nate Allen?

Our defence will actually be scary for a change. Hard hitters on all levels with corners that are capable tacklers.

Fins up from Canada!

I hope he has remained in the loop during this time. I know he's not supposed to have contact with the team but hopefully he doesn't come back clueless and not mentally ready to play.

Im excited to add talent, but he's not a FS and Allen will still start at FS

Not a chance. Maybe against the Panthers as you don’t want to over due it the first week, but Allen has zero chance of holding his job. You don’t renogiate with a guy under contract to put him on the bench. Allen also has t played his was in to locking his job up. He hasn’t been a liability, but not very good either.

TJ McDonald will have the 19th highest average salary for a Safety (both Free and Strong) in the league. Would be kinda silly for him to be the backup safety.

PS Reshad is tied for #3 with Kam Chancellor. Eric Berry is #1.

Of the top 20, 11 are Free Safeties and 9 are Strong Safeties. Bizarrely, only the Dolphins are paying two "strong safeties" top 20 money. Any other team, like Seattle have one strong safety and one free safety. But who says you have to follow the rules? Not Mike Tannenbaum!

If the defense is similar to the one last year with Isa Abdul-Quddus, then it should not be a problem since the defense doesn't use a traditional free safety.

Not at FS..He will be on the field all the time, but not FS...JMO[/Q

Ya he will be at FS. Allen has no chance to remain the starter. They didn't sign McDonald to a contract extension to have him sit on the bench.

With the exception of Tannehill, we are getting healthy and finally it looks like we have a real good chance at being good.

I can only imagine what this team would look like today if RT was playing.
I have some hope left even with McMillan out for the year.
The Atlanta game if not a fluke really has given us a snap shot of what could be?
I have not bought super bowl tickets yet though! Lol

He's starting sonewhere....He already had a good 1 yr deal...played 1 pre-season game (really f***ing well), and got $20+ milly...

Foooling yourself if you think otherwise.
