I’m bored at the airport so I figured I’d give TJ some props. I know he’s taken some heat on this site but I thought he made some key plays yesterday and has been a solid player this year. His interception in the end zone kept us in the game and started the rally. I’m sure he made some screw ups too but his impact was definitely felt yesterday. Props!
 
I took my dog to the dog park at half time, so was staring at the good old NFL tracker and saw his name come up on the interception. Even as a text, it was beautiful to see.
 
He's made a couple important picks, but I'm not sure that balances out the coverage issues and his propensity for missed tackles. I would love to see a legit #2 CB with McCain healthy at nickel and Fitz manning the FS position sooner rather than later...with Jones at SS where his style makes the biggest impact. But credit where credit is due, that was a huge INT.
 
Hes a box safety same as R.Jones at half-price.
He ever reverted back to the pro bowl safety he was with the Rams. The Dolphines would set with a young,deep,and cheap secondary.
 
I remember seeing Jones cap hit being really high next year, not sure how much is guaranteed but do we cut him and put him TJ there? I love Reshad but that could be an option
 
One important aspect about McDonald -- he certainly brings a physical aspect to the game.

And he is making critical plays -- but yea -- he lacks the ideal range @FS.

But I still like him as a FOOTBALL PLAYER.
 
Just my opinion but outside of those two picks I think his play has been absolutely putrid.

While he seems to put himself in good position he tackles like he is a T-Rex and can’t cover anything.

We need get to Fitz at FS sooner than later, already going to go through this year with 2 strong safety’s, why do another year?

Well for starters McDonald isnt nearly as good as Jones. I do agree with the Minkah to FS statement though, and I dont care if Jones and McDonald are still on the team or not. Get a #2 cb, put Mccain in the slot, Fitz at FS, and McDonald can ride the bench for all I care... now I know this wont happen, but it's what I want to see lol.
 
TJ is at his best when put up or near the LOS.

To play him at FS is plain dumb by Miami but that's what they got to do with no 3rd CB to move Minkah to FS.

Get your **** together Tankersly.
