To all Hard Core Phin Fans...

Congratulations!
Being a die hard myself, we need to savor this win, we desrve it!
I (we) endured all those crappy games last season, and thought we could pull it together to make .500. We never had to go through seasons like last year. I have always known that Miami was just going to win, or be competitive enough to make it close. I also said every year,"We're going this year!" Because that's what Phinatics do.

We went through the longest offseason ever! We had good things happen with Saban, Carter, Brown, Houck (It was great to see him get on board!), Linehan, and others. Every day coming to this computer to find out any news that could make the offseason better. Always wondering if all the people coming in and their ideas of helping this team win would work.

Well, so far it has been everything I wanted -a win, a domination, and the slap in the face to all those who said we'd still suck.

I am very happy for JT, Zach, Sam, and the others who deserved better coaching last year.

This is how I've always seen Miami football since I can remember it around 1976 watching it with my mom, who was big time Phinatic. I'm glad to see it's back! Congrats Phinatics!!
 
as Jimmy Johnson used to say.........it only counts as one.

But what a great one to start out with.
 
To actually play to win!

It was fun to watch a team that wanted to dominate and win a game.

It has been soo long with that "just hold on and don't lose it" mentality.

How is wanny doing btw? :evil:

LOL Wanny is busy destroying another once proud franchise.
 
As the game drew near, my leg shaking vigorously on my bar stool, my hands began to sweat with nervous anticipation. As i watch unfolded the game i could only of drempt about starting the season with. How good did it feel!!!! I almost can't remember when we took control of a game like that and slapped people who said we could'nt compete. God bless us Dolphins lets do it again real soon...(like next week BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
 
Yeah, have to admit, it felt really good. The last 4 or 5 years of playing to not lose and hanging on for dear life in the 4th qtr. Now, that doesn't mean we'll win every game now, and I know that, but it does mean that this doesn't appear to be "the same old Fins"...I was so down last year, that the relief might last me thru next week, even if we don't beat the Jests...
