Anyone remember back in 2005 when we lost the first time around to the Jets and then beat them the second time around?

NO LOL.

Exactly. Losing to the Jets on Monday night isn't going to make a damn bit of difference if we're winning big in a few years with Andrew Luck. This season is GONE.

I'm not gonna go out and root for the Jets. And I'm not gonna root for the Dolphins to lose. But in the grand scheme of things...BIG picture...it's not gonna make a difference if we win or lose that Monday.

I think all of us would like to be in the Lions position right now. High picks used intelligently can completely turn around a franchise. I'm also sure there was a segment of the Chargers fanbase who wanted their crappy team to be in position to take a top QB. Maybe if they'd sucked more they would have had Peyton.
