To all you Wade Smith lovers........

What do you mean whom else? You take away Wade Smith and Mare's screw ups last year and we'd be 13-3. Each screw up in their case was critical and a game turning one. Against Indy and the NE last game Wade played poorly. Against NE's first Game Mare cost us. :yell:

in the second NE game, wasn't the key play a harrison blitz from the opposite side of where smith plays? a blitz somebody other than smith should have picked up? that game was the LT's fault, even if the harrison blitz never happened?

He didnt hold his own against ****. The guy got owned week in and week out. If he isnt any better then last year we are in alot of trouble even if we had Vick at qb and Jamal Lewis at running back

Owned week in and out?

He had 12 sacks given up last season. 6 of those were against 2 players.

That's 6 sacks in the remaining 14 games. For a rookie LT third rounder who was susposed to be a project, that's good.

That's a BS statement, and you're not the 1st person to say it. If we were better as a team, then it wouldn't come down to 1 or 2 mistakes costing us games.

Again give me some examples of him being a turnstile. I know he got beat when he went up against two of the best pass rushers in the NFL, but just whom else made him a turnstile?
I got an idea why dont you stop holding Wade jock strap

Yeah but how many times did he allow pressure on the QB and Rb they dont have stat for that do they stat boy. Its also his timing in allowing the sacks he did.

Here's a stat that should shut up all the Wade Smith bashers. Last year we only gave up 31 sacks, we were tied with New York for 12th best in sacks allowed. Which means 20 teams gave up more sacks than us, including New England. Seeing has how the LT has the biggest role in pass protection, I'd say Wade Smith played better than 20 other starting LTs in the league. :goof:

Yeah Randy Mcmike was suppose to block him and didn't. Wade Smith has the potential to a good LT. He's just okay now, and I'm okay w/ that, being he weighed about 280 last year and was two years removed from being a TE. Give him a little more time to develope. He was suppose to b/u Mark Dixon not start. If he's true liablity during the season the coaches will move him to guard or back-up tackle.

I know the season hasn't started yet but what's up with your boy ? I thought he was gonna do so much better this season. I thought he was going to anchor our line this year.

"Oh , its not his fault he got thrown into the lineup when he wasn't ready"
"He'll be our best lineman and you'll be eating your words "
"I'm sure he will improve over the offseason"

Well, from what I've heard and watched so far, he still sucks. I was hoping he would prove me wrong and believe me I'll still be watching but I don't think its gonna happen. I"m already mentally preparing myself for the game deciding mistakes he goin to make again this year. For all the things you people find to complain about, so many of you love this kid, I just don't get it.

I can see the average age within the board is lowering by the day.

"your boy"? What is this? Seems like you're more concerned about beating other fans as opposed to beating other teams.

Support your team. There are 31 other teams who need fans, this line is full.

You take away a couple of other plays and Miami is 6-10. It works both ways.

First off you are totally speculating that Miami would have scored a TD against Indy. That is not a given, considering how poorly Miami scores.

Second. Wade had a bad game, however the play where BG fumbled was not his fault since RW knocked him off his block.

You said he played poorly in the second NE game. What did his guy end up with in sacks?

Oh so because I pointed out that you made a statement that was basically a lie, you get mad and lash out me.

I'd be mad at myself if I were you. Next time try having the information before making the statement.

So basically you do not know of any one time outside of the two games against the two Pro Bowlers, but yet we are suppose to take your word that he was terrible. I think not.

Spoken like someone who does not understand how difficult the LT spot is.
Smith did an outstanding job considering all factors.

For one, I watched every single minute of every dolphin game and Smith did repeatedly get used quite a bit. Not just by probowlers either. Why would I or anyone else want to simply make up that our LT was horrible? Do you think that is some type of fun conversation? And no I could not pinpoint every single incident because I tend to block bad dolphin moments like that out of my long term memory. Not to mention , I'm not watching wade frickin smith on every single snap, and neither is the camera man. But I did realize that the QB was being chased from behind and running for his life more times than not. And any time when they zoomed in on Wade , he was extremely slow getting in his stance and the D lineman blew by him very easily. I had never seen any D lineman go someone that easily actually. The reason that you and all of us distinctly remember the games againsnt freeney and kearse is because he LOST the game for us. We played very good opponents and fought back to have a chance to win those games and his mistakes cost us the game. Yes he was a rookie, and yes he was thrown out there, I've heard all of this a 100 times. But that doesn't mean he is good. He is put on the field to do one thing, BLOCK. If he can't do it, why is he ont the field. Thats my question.

First of all, You are only 6 years older than me genius. And your interests listed are watching pornos and eating cheetos. That sounds like MR. Big Bad mature dolphin fan to me. I have loved the dolphins since the day I was born and I will continue to do so until I die. I'm sure I know more about them than you ever will. And the fact that I used the term "your boy " has absolutely no relevance to my status as a dolphin fan. I am not happy with your post at all and did not expect to get attacked because of me saying Wade Smith is not a good football player. So you take your sorry a$$ to the end of another line in Kentucky or whatever redneck woods you live in.

I apolgize mods but this dude pi$$ed me off :fire:

Those stats are actually not awful but most of that was because Feidler was aware that wade sucked and rolled to his right as soon as the ball was snapped. Griese however did not and we all know what happened there.
