How can you some of you say "we are going to spank that a$$ come Thursday night" or "this is going to be an easy win"? This is the freakin' NFL! You really think this will be "easy" with Big Ben out (and maybe Ward)? You guys should know better than that. Pull your heads out! :shakeno:
 
Some reason, I got a feeling they will still be there. Don't know why. Ben can be cleared in the last minute by doctors.
 
Well, at least that is more realistic than some Steeler fans..

The Steelers don’t need Ben to beat the Dolphins.

Batch and the team that just won the Super Bowl will kick the living sh*t out of Miami.

Besides, Batch needs to play in a couple of real games to stay sharp.

Geez, guys, get a grip. This is the Pittsburgh Steelers we’re talking about here, not some might-win-a-game-sometime team like the Cleveland Browns.

I agree 100%. Anyone that thinks Cowher will not have his team ready to play are fools. Lets not get too ****y here.

So you don't think the rest of their team will play harder because of this? Besides Batch went 2-0 last year when Ben was out.. This should be a good game period..don't know who will win, but I think I can speak for all phins fan on this board, that we all hope Miami wins.

It isnt being pessimistic to say with Ben out this isnt a guaranteed win. It's realistic as opposed to stupid.
 
They werent going to be a very good team this year with Ben......third best in their own divison, without Ben it will be even worse, luckily he only misses one game probally

Nothing is guaranteed but some things do give you a much better chance of course

If people think we're going to beat the **** out've Pittsburgh, what's the problem? I've never had a problem with positive energy as long as it's not crossing the line.

With that said, I'm the type who will sit back, watch, and let the players do the talking for me.......

LOL, I saw your post coming stating this and I was going to say the same thing. I have them missing the post season with Roethlisberger.

As for this thread topic, I think we are the favorites to win now. I don't care if they are getting their rings or if it's in Pittsburgh. Miami is flat out a better football team and the score will show that.

It definitely improves our chances. But look at the merged thread of Ben being out. People are already celebrating the victory.
