Just after seeing him against the colts its like he is a new player. he had a high level of energy. mike knows how to use the guy. i know that one play when he knocked out jim sorgi he wasnt tuched but man he seems like he is on the top of his game. wish he was in a dolphins uni though. i know we will be fine without him but just wish we did.

I had made a thread about Arrington and Peterson earlier basically saying the same thing. If we got him our defense would be that much more able to put the pressure on the QB.

I feel ya. It would have been nice to have that kind of playmaker at LB along with ZT and Crowder. What an awesome group that would have been. O well.

yeah he is a totally awesome player and would have been a great pick up, but he would have been extremely expensive and is highly injury prone

I don't know why he's getting bashed as injury prone. He had one major injury, yeah - but so did Cpep, and he gets all the credit in the world around here for his recovery. It happens in football. The important thing is making it back to full strength, and it looks like Peterson has.

I was really suprised we didn't get Peterson. Looking back now, it's probably better because of all the depth we were able to add with the extra cap space. Don't get me wrong, Peterson is a great player and I'd love to have him, but you have to buy into Nick's plan. Remember guys, it's all part of the process relative to making this a better football team.
