begin a new era with henne and see what he can do. itssad to see how it came to this but it time to see what he has got.:woot::hi5:
 
I kind of agree. Don't get me wrong, going into the season it was a no brainer we start Pennington. At 0-3 we need to step back and see where we are going in the future, Henne or bring in someone else. Henne may b a big disappointment but then again he may be great. We won't know either way till he gets some time in and has a fair chance.
 
I'm trying to make my peace with the Pennington situation right now, but it just really hurts that he went down with our team still winless and that not being Pennington's fault, but him still being blamed for it. I've got my other threads about it and am getting out what I need to say now, before Henne really starts his run because he deserves my full support.

Our team just isn't that good regardless of the QB, but I am excited about seeing what Henne can do. The logical side of me is keeping my longterm expectations pretty low, but I still want to see the good things that he can bring. We're going to find out a lot about him this year, and if he doesn't appear to be the guy I think it should be plenty obvious to the trifecta that we need to acquire a legitimate Qb of the future through legitimate means, and not the second round. So I see it in some ways as a win/win.
 
Unfortunately I think it will get worse before it gets better but I'd be willing to sit through another 1-15 season if that means we can finally say we've found a QB that we can build around.
 
Yep, hate that he went down but when I saw it first thing that came to mind is, we will get to see what Henne looks like in real game time finally.
 
I dont understand all these threads... if henne goes 0-3 people will call for pat white.. No Fan will ever be happy.

Hopefully well pick another 2nd round QB this year... lol
 
i have a feeling that Henne will play very good against the bills. The reason is because he will get some reps with the offense at practise, and exectute the gameplan.

Actually, fans will be happy if a QB can win games for us.
 
to be 0-3 I'm excited to have an early draft pick and being able to trade down and continue to rebuild this team by finding a quality QB, some DL's LB's, and DB's
 
Let's say Henne finishes the season 8-5. Would you guys be happy with him next season, or should miami draft another qb in the first or second round?

We can say things till were blue in the face but thats just not going to happen.
