Satele thomas murphy ndukwe smiley berger alleman. I know satelle is a center also but tht is a lot of money rapped up in guards.

Last year definately showed us the importance of depth.. I believe we'll need it this year too. Rotating guys in will also keep our guys fresh and healthy.. and hopefully avoid wearing down late in the season.

Well if you think we have too many, we can always trade one away temporarily to Washington for a 2nd round pick knowing next year we can get him back for free if needed :).

LOL, they are like having an extended practice squad that gives us picks

Not really. Satele, Ndukwe, Berger and Alleman are all swing players. Satele, Alleman and Berger can play both guard and center, Ndukwe has experience at center, guard and tackle.

Plus, guys like Ndukwe and Alleman are making hardly anything, so we really don't have too much rapped up in those positions. Smiley and Grove are the two biggest paid players at center and guard.

What are you on, drugs? You can never have enough good guards. Stop talking poppy****.

But seriously, no. We now have a deep O-line be happy.

after last season. ill take as many as we can get. we need depth. most of these guys can play multiple positions.

Dont give up on Murphy so quick. Just cause he didnt play last year doesnt mean he's going to be no good. Nduwkwe or however you spell his name is the most likely guard to go.

Ndukwe is MUCH better G than Murphy, and can play T. He will not be the first guard to go.

Well obviously we will have a training camp and they will keep the best ones.

Nothing wrong with competition. And why are you complaining ? We haven't had good competition on the O-line for a very long time. It's a welcome change.

Since we lost are 2 starting guards last year and had a difficult time finding adequate replacements at this point I would rather have too many than too few.

to many guards...

also this is very annoying
its
too many guards
implying that are are more than needed.
not to like implying going to a place.

Not really... There are always injuries on the line. Last year we lost our 2 starters. This year they're coming off of major injuries. Not to mention some of the players mentioned are very borderline as nfl level and are not getting paid much at all.
