How do we not have more cap room? Our roster is almost entirely devoid of talent, where is our cap space tied up? Jake Long and Dansby I know have sizable contracts, but so what? They're 2 of about 3 or 4 good players on the whole team... How the hell are we not amongst the top of the league in cap space now?
 
There's a lot of dead money. I wanna say it's in double digits. Not a good look.
 
I agree. Based on the lack of talent on this team, they shouldn't be anywhere near the cap.
 
I washed my car a few days ago, and of course it rains last night. DAMMIT JEFF IRELAND I KNOW YOU'RE BEHIND THIS...!
 
I have been saying the same thing too! it seems like we go into free agency every year without any capspace! but blame dawn aponte, she handles all our contracts and the browns fired her a few years back because she was screwing up their finances, so its typical that she would be with our organization now, she fits right in the circus.
 
It has to be the fans and media causing this problem.
 
i brought this up a week or so ago during our pursuit of manning, even by ridding ourselves of bmarsh, we seem to be up against it every year while teams like the bucs and broncos have tons of cap space, hell even the Jets, who spend money all over the place I think have more cap space than we do...and where is all this money that ireland is spending? we have a franchise LT, and little else...this is a bigger indictment on ireland than anything else in my opinion, the guy does not have a franchise qb or a franchise anything really, and we have no space to maneuver
 
The Gibril Wilson contract was a bad contract...I wonder if any of that dead space if from Brandon Marshall. Crowder may have been apart of that too. Other than that I am not really sure.

She'd have to be an escapologist to sort out some of the front office blunders

Ultimately everything you pay players hits the cap at some point. We still have guaranteed money from Gibril Wilson and Jake Grove hitting the cap

Where the F**K is Ross? Isn't he interested in how poorly his team is being run?
Dawn Aponte and Ireland both need to go.
