this thread is to brian brohm and CC as our coach /wiht a QB and LT type RB in R.B.! lets go miami!

im not against troy smith as well like him a lot.

I'd love to have Brohm, lets hope the Raiders take Russel that is the best chance we have of Brohm getting to us.

I'd still like Mora as my 1a choice but the more I read on CC he has become choice 1b
 
I hope Cameron becomes our HC too. Brohm works for me but if there's a Left Tackle that we can't pass up at #9 (Joe Thomas if he falls or maybe Jared Gaither if he has a good combine) then we gotta take that LT.
 
With Atlanta hiring Petrino I think Wisenhunt signing with Miami is inevitable.

Yeah I know....I hope he does though. The more qbs that declare the better. If Troy Smith performs well tomorrow that will help too. All we can do is wait and hope Brohm declares.
 
Yeah, I like Mora too, but I am really liking the idea of Cam coming aboard. If he could create some plays that get Ronnie more involved in the offense and even slightly resembles LT, it would be exciting to watch.

No this guy refers to Channing Crowder as CC. I don't want him to coach us either! He's only been in the leagure for 2 years

Before you play GM look at the candidates entire body of work. Just because a guy is an assistant coach doesn't mean he's head coach material. Look at Marty Mohrninweg with the Eagles. He' took over the playcalling when the Eagles were 4-4 and now there going to the championship with retread Jeff Garcia at QB. The guy looks to be an offensive genius. Well he was a disaster as the Lions head coach. So there's more to the resume!

Pitt wont let him go easily. I agree greatly with the spirit of this thread. Will see what happens in the bowl game about smith, but atm im high on him. Brohm as well. Russell and Quinn would be nice but they are sure to be gone by our spot. Colt Brennen is a fifth QB to keep in mind, his stock could really take off if he declares.

I think he was too young when he coached the Lions. He'll probably get another shot soon. He's only 44 now. I think he was 38 when he coached the Lions
 
I bet he sucks for whatever team hires him next. Some coordinators just arent meant for HC jobs. Wanny was a prime example. Very good DC, horrible HC.

Every kind of person fails at NFL coaching, retreads/coordinators and college guys. I feel a coordinator gives us the best shot at longterm success and viability. But not MM
