Well ladies and gentleman,we have one more day of hope,if joey can spark our team and go into new york and win, you know and i know were gonna get pumped and go on a roll which is what i fully expect to happen.

Now if we go in there and poop on ourselves, than my friends its officially over and i say lets purge them all, this would be my defense if we lose going into green bay,
D line,, fredirick evans, jason taylor, kevin vickerson, matt roth.
Linebackers,, Zach thomas,channing crowder,derrick pope
Secondary,,jason allen,yerimiah bell,travis daniels,will allen
receivers,, chambers,hagan,welker
runningbacks,, brown
oline,,,well we got nobody to replace shelton and james so i don't know what to do .

It makes no sense to let these castoffs play out the season if we lose this game,,
you can argue these points all you want but if they can't get it down tommorrow then why not play not just some of the young guys but all of them,,,please don't tell me the season is not over if we lose.

I look at this as a positive either way,we win we got hope, we lose,we get to talk trade and draft to start the rebuilding of this team,,i want a young fast hungry team...all this being said i believe we go 10 and 6 and make a serious run while joey becomes a star in miami.

I think Joey will lead Miami to a win tommorow and a win against GB the week after going into the bye.

You just can't do that. We are losing to teams with our first-stringers as it is; we would completely embarass ourselves with the D-Line you suggested and become the laughingstock of the league.

I hate to say it but... if we lose this week it's most likely over unless the Patsies plane goes down, not that i want that to happen. :fh:

dude if we lose tommorrow i hate to break the news to you but WE ARE THE LAUGHINGSTOCK OF THE LEAGUE,that means that your players that you want to continue playing are the ones that made us THE LAUGHINGSTOCK OF THE LEAGUE.

We are already the laughing stock of the league....I say purge.

There is no upside for the long-in-the-tooth veterans currently on the field and they are getting beat with frightening regularity. The upside is in the young guys who are stuck on the bench behind them. Get those guys in the game so that we know what we have, or more likely, don't have.

Purge.

Agreed. Purge. But, let's hope it's done sensibly...allow the string to be played out...keep the youngers healthy & anxious, let the vets continue schooling them...next offseason, go Roman all up in there.

Can you imagine a healthy Ricky and DaunTe in the same backfield with Wanny roaming the sidelines and the reassuring Rick Spielman making a big trade?

Hypothetical situation: We lose to the Jets. Season is over. We sit the guys like Carter and Holliday and anyone else who is a veteran proven player who is playing hard on a team that is stumbling on themselves. So they sit on the sideline, "collect dust" and lose any potential value they might have in a trade. I'm all for playing the younger guys, but we can't just BENCH half of the defense. If we lose, then we need to start a rotation that gets the younger players into the game. But we can't just throw in the towel with the older guys. You never know, they could end up helping this team in other ways down the road.

So what? Sometimes you have to tear down to build back up.
Remember JJ's 1st yr in Dallas? They went 1-15 and everyone was laughing. They weren't laughing 3 yrs later.
