No Jordan.

No Jones.

No Wheeler.

No Misi for most of the game.

No Ellerbe for most of the game.

Wilson knocked out later in the game off a cheap ass hit.

4 starters out on defense. 3 of them are your starting linebackers. 2 of them are reserve and 1 of those is a reserve for 1 that is suspended.

Yet with all of that we still held New England to 35 yards and 1 first down in the 2nd half until their last 2 min warning garbage yard drive. Let that sink in for a min. At one point in the 2nd half we had 5 reserves on the field putting a butt whipping of epic proportions on the great Brady.

So far this season my Dawgs and my Phins, my Dawgphins, have annihilated Clemson and NE in the 2nd half with great adjustments, ferocious D, and running games that thrive off emotional running and great line blocking. The key in latter part, Knowshon (my main Dawgphin). I told you all when we signed him that big things were coming. Glad to say...I TOLD YOU SO! :hump:

But we couldn't score against a terrible Dallas defense and we suck, right?

It all starts up front. As long as we have Wake and OV beasting like they did yesterday we will be in every game. Great performance and gives me a bit more hope for this season.

One newbie that stood out for me was Mitchell and the depth and frequency of his penetration [uh oh, comments like that could get me in trouble]. Once he started doing it Starks then followed suit and the both of them owned the interior of the Pats OL. but Mitchell was probably the best DT we had yesterday.

I said when he was signed that Mitchell was a huge upgrade over Soliai for a 4-3 scheme. Mitchell played out of position within the Texans defense last year. He is not a 3-4 NT, but he did ok. I am glad the Texans misused him. We got him cheap compared to his actual value. Just wait. He is going to have a very good year.

In perspective of sorts, NOLA rushed for 139 yds.

Two backs with 5 ypc helped.
The Oline looked like an Oline should look.
