1.) Henne is the future at QB. That still doesn't mean that we have to start him right now. Let him learn a little bit more. Surround him with a little more talent (next year) and let him have a chance to win a few. He's not going anywhere.

2.) Our secondary sucks. The rebuilding process starts somewhere, and yer not going to improve everything. Remember, during the offseason, teh papers were saying "Hey, we have upgraded a lot of spots, except for Safety and Corner...what does that mean? Is this group improving on their own. They seem to be doing better in practice. They look pretty good, they got some moxy." That's not the case. Our horrible DBs were looking GOOD against our Horrible WRs. Period. And we are not putting Ronnie Brown or Ted Ginn at FS or SS btw.

3.) Yes, Ginn sucks. Jason Allen sucks. Our draft history for the past 3 years has been horrible. With maybe an exception for Ronnie Brown we lacked any decent drafts which puts us in this whole. I don't care if he is the "FASTEST PERSON IN THE WORLD", he isn't very good at football and that's what matters.

4.) WRs. What's to say. We don't have any. We might as well just put blockers in their place and just run the football. Ronnie and Ricky might break away if they had 10 other blockers all 6-4 320lbs.

5.) O-Line. Our most improved department has really lacked the ability to open holes for our "Best 2 backs in the game". Ricky is far from his "2002" form when he ran for 1800 yards. Ronnie had a breakout season last year and had the most yards from scrimmage through week 5 or 6. The only problem with that is that our coaching staff just relied on him to catch and run. He was our only Offense.

6.) I will continue on this later.

Watch them beat the Pats this week.

It does not hurt Henne to start him now, if he's to fragile now then what do you think that 2-3 years from now he'll become something he's not. He may not look like a probowler yet but learning on the job will be his best chance to succeed earlier ala Cutler, Edwards, Anderson, Brady and Favre. Yes the talent isn't there but I really think if you put his strong arm in we'll have a better understanding if we can stick with Ginn, Hagen and Wilford. Fasano we'll be his best friend early and I really think that teams will have to respect the fact that the ball can be thrown 40-50 yards down the field to Ginn that may help the run game alittle more. I'm not saying Henne's our saviour today and we'll all of a sudden be real good but the defenses approach to us will have to change.
If he struggles bad he can always sit and learn some more, but Edwards sure hasn't been hurt from being thrown in last season. We don't have the time to find out 2 years from now he can't play, we will see flashes of whats to come just as Beck showed us that he really cant play at this level.
