Edit: The radio report I heard from Howard Eskin that the eagles were cutting TO was false.

However, TO has been suspend for 4 games and will not return to the team this year.

Sorry about the false 'he was cut' report.

Oh snap! This is great news! For me, for my fantasy team. I KNOW someone will pick him up within DAYS and he'll be starting within a few WEEKS baby. WOOHOO!!!!!

But as for Miami, I doubt it. It's possible, but I doubt it.

Please no. TO is a cancer among cancers and will end up with the Raiders where other cancers go to die.

got a link?

i know they suspended him indefinatly.

im almost surtain they would try to trade him for something. (since he is a hall of fame WR)

Local philly reporter, howard eskin just reported it and mortenson reported it!

dont jump the gun just yet.

Eagles | Owens' Fate to be Decided by Reid
Mon, 7 Nov 2005 09:56:13 -0800

Hank Gola, of the New York Daily News, reports Philadelphia Eagles team president Joe Banner confirmed WR Terrell Owens is serving an unpaid suspension for an "accumulation" of offenses. He noted head coach Andy Reid will decide Owens' fate with the team. Reid may meet with Owens later this week. "Andy will basically figure out where we go from here," Banner said. "He indicated to T.O. that he'd talk to him later this week and give him a more definitive status report." Due to a $7.5 million roster bonus in March, it would be difficult for the Eagles to trade him. The team could outright release him rather than pay the bonus and hope to accomplish a trade.

Eagles press conference has been pushed back from its normal monday noon time, to 3pm.

We'll see if they report it too.

How do you release someone and then trade him?

Trading deadline expired last month.
