How exactly is a 3rd round pick (financed as a 2nd next year) overpaying for a QB? What would you guys seriously expect to pay for a QB?

To clarify, I really am seriously asking. Are you taking this position because the team could have had Garcia, Collins, or Couch for "free"? Isn't that the direction this team went with Lucas and then with Griese?
