I know a ton of you have criticized Tannehill in his short career for numerous flaws, I see a lot of you now are of the mindset that he is now the franchise QB after today's win.

I really, really hope that you continue to feel that way no matter what happens these last 2 games and beyond. If he goes into Buffalo next week and throws for 150 yds and 3 INTs, I don't want you to change your minds again.

A franchise QB is a franchise QB. It isn't something that changes week to week.

on finheaven it changes daily

just get him a big TE

Bingo. It really amazes me every time we get another red zone passing TD (and we are getting a fair amount) because we have absolutely nobody you can count on to out leverage the defense and have the physical presence needed to command space in the end zone. Those who don't understand what this means to the offense in the red zone only needs to look at how Tom Brady failed to win today in that position without Gronk or Dobson to establish themselves and out man the defense for the ball.

I response to the OP, I think everyone here feels assured that Tannehill has become a franchise passer, and while it is possible that we lose the game, I don't think it's going to be because the offense didn't put up a fight. But a franchise QB wouldn't go into these last to games, in all likelihood a win and you're in for the playoffs, and crap the bed. If he does, I certainly won't write him off as the longtime QB for the Dolphins. There's been too much positives to the way he has carried this team through adversity all year for two games to change that.

And a RB that can pass block and of course a BETTER offensive line :-(

It would be nice to see what he could really do if we weren't forced to only run plays predicated on getting the ball out in under 3 seconds. The turnovers would certainly come down.

LOL, I know ELI threw for 5 INTS today lol. We all thought he was a franchise QB, I guess we were wrong. lol

Bro, he has already turned out to be a bust. We have been down this road before. Starting Turnoverhill any further is pointless.

Start Matt Moore and try to salvage the season. We already know Tannebust isnt the answer. We will be drafting a QB again this year if we are smart.

Oh yeah.

I am first to admit I was erong here. After the Carolina game, thought he would never amount to anything more than a middle of the road QB. Since that game though he's been terrific, culminating in the performance today. He still needs to keep it up though, show that progression and no regression.

I haven't been sure on Tannehill all year. He's been inconsistent, showing flashes of greatness. I think he will be a very good QB. Every game won't be great, Brees has 3 turnovers and no TD's so far today, it happens. We have a good one, he'll take his lumps, but with even a marginal upgrade at Oline he is going to be dangerous for years to come.

Amen OP. Guy's only in his 2nd year, workin his way to the wild-card spot. NOT carried by his defense, he's had to lead comebacks in so many games.

End of story: Tannehill's clutch, and I'm damn proud he's on the Fins.
