TO To The Raiders for Jerry Porter?

I think that is a big mistake, the raiders have a good offense already. Moss and Owens are not going to be happy. These guys always want the ball thrown to them, it used to work for them because Moss or T.O never played on a team where they had a receiver of their caliber, and talent along side of them. Thats how it would be though, if T.O joined the raiders. I just don't think things will work out, T.O or Moss by themself ar alot to handle on one team, let alone together. On paper, they sound very scary, if Marvin Harrison joined the raiders things would much likely work out, because Marvin Harrison just goes about his business and plays. T.O and Moss have very similar personalites. One guy will eventually want to be traded or sit out, or half *** it on the field. I think this will backfire on the Raiders if they get T.O
 
I would love that trade. Self-implosion would eliminate that team from contention. Can you imagine the screaming from TO and Moss if Norv dared call a running play to their newly acquired, expensive RB Lamont Jordan? Hah, please AL Davis do this trade.

It could and will work IMO. Both players may want the ball (BTW what real WR does not??!!), but that does not in any way diminish their threat on the field to take it to the house. Who do you double??
One day Moss will light it up and another, TO will. If they get a ring, they will put it in all the faces of the doubters.

I do not think this will happen though.
 
I doubt it will happen, but that sounds like some Madden football stuff there. Doesnt it?
 
Trade wouldn't work.....Raiders are cap strapped and they just resigned Porter, with at least a 5 million dollar signing bonus (probably more, but I can't find details)......that would all get accelerated to this year if he were traded. They can't afford that, let alone the new contract that TO is demanding.

This rumor is PFT quality.
 
Forget about whether they could co-exist.......there's a little thing called the salary cap which makes this trade a virtual impossibility. Unless Charles Woodson is going to Philly with Porter.
 
Won't happen because Jerry Porter signed a nice sized deal this offseason and his signing bonus would accelerate all to this year's cap. The Raiders can't afford that.

If there was any way it did happen the Lamont Jordon might average 6 yards per carry.
 
The Raiders doesn't have the cap room to make this deal unless they cut somebody big like Woodson. The Raiders will prob be a laughing stock of THIS did happen because both TO and Moss will be cancers on their team. If they dont improve their defense, then they won't head to the playoffs.
 
I hope this happens. Would kill the Raiders cap for YEARS and no way those guys could co-exist together.
 
Man, I hope this hapens, i can already picture it, as soon as TO is getting in Kollins face Moss comes in and starts screaming in the other ear....what a sight that would be...this would make or break the Raiders, ersonally I think brake more than anything.

Moss and T.O are bolth leaders on there teams they want the ball becuse they want the team to win no matter what and they think that if they get the ball theyll win, The trade wont happen porter is just as good a reciver as any and hes a guy who can beat doubles and be a game changer he showed that aginst the broncos last season, Moss everyone already knows him we have the best or one of the best WR groups right now!!
