After a win today we will finally start to get some respect. Last year it was all about a weak schedule and poor Brady. This year it is all about our "gimmick ".

After we shut down the vaunted saints offense and run wild on their D, we will finally start to get a little respect.
 
I think the Saints are going to throw the ball deep early, especially down the middle of the field. I'm confident in the defensive line's ability to stop the run but not too confident in Porter and Taylor getting pressure on Brees. The Dolphins offense should continue to play well.
 
Dolphins Win, It shows what this team and Sparano is all about. Even if we lose. I hope its a close battle 7-10 point lost at the most. Cause the dolphins are still a young team that got unlucky this year
 
Seriously, who gives a **** about respect? Why are dolfans so obsessed with this?

It's been so long since we have consistently won. We used to be a SB pick every year, but now, we're just a middle of the road team with the WC in the media's eyes.

The Phins win today and the Patriot, Giants, Jets loving "media" take the Phins seriously !
 
It doesn't really matter who respects us. I think a win today would be great for this team and it's player to prove to themselves that they can go out and beat a really good team. That is what builds confidence and can be a catalyst for the rest of the season, not how the media or other teams perceive you.
 
We're actually already getting respect. Everyone has been saying that we're much better than our record says, and today on ESPN everyone picked the Dolphins but 1 person. It's ESPN though, so eh

A ball control run based offense has got to have a defense to go along with it. We've got half a D... if we want "respect" then we need to start stopping the pass with pressure and better secondary play.
 
Why do people put so much emphasis on the national media attention. It can also be a bad thing.

All we have to do.. as fans is support our team. Everyone else are pure bandwaggoners. So who cares?

we are watching our proud franchise be rebuilt. There will be growing pains, but in the long term we'll be just fine.

Agree 100%! Right now there is a serious disconnect somewhere on the defensive side of the ball. It's either a lack of talent, poor coaching, or poor coordination/execution. You simply don't give up the number of long passes we have without serious problems on D.
