So we beat the Chiefs today. The wind chills were -12 in Kansas City. I never realized how ******* cold that was for extended times. I live in South Dakota and have felt -40 wind chills and worse, but usually not for more than 10 minutes. My toes were numb about halfway through the 2nd quarter. I spent half the 3rd quarter in the restroom BSing with 20 fans and listening to the game on the radio until my feet thawed, lol.
It was my first game though and it was definitely worth it. 69 points scored between the 2 teams, there was plenty of excitement. All the Chiefs fans I talked to were great too. Especially after they found out I drove through a blizzard to be there.
Anyways, after the weather our Fins played in today, next week shouldn't be nearly as bad. I just checked the 10 day forecast and it says that the high at Giants Stadium next Sunday is supposed to be 48!!!! There is a chance of rain though. The forecast will most likely change, but it gives a rough idea of what the temp might be. Nowhere close to what they had to endure today.
