Question?

IS it just me, or did I see this team quit in the end of the 4th quarter. I didn't want to post this below because it would get out of hand.

To me, dropped passes are a lack of concentration. And the team in the 4th quarter in the hurry up showed no urgency, in fact players were taking their dam time. Am I wrong for thinking this team quit, or is the losing just getting to me?

What's your thoughts?

Don't know what it is, brother but it looks like they don't WANT to win. it sounds incredulous but true. Every week, they seem to be doing the same mistakes and at the same time adding a few more for good measure to lose. No sense of urgency at all, bro.
BTW, I'm glad we have a place that I can ask questions and vent without
looking dumb about it.

It was ugly... very ugly. :shakeno:

Zach? Zach? you're a vet right? WTF was that?

They were really slow getting up to the line, for sure. Being there, I can understand the heat may have been a factor, as that's the hottest late Oct. game I can ever remember. I will have to see the tape on the "quitting" part, but being there, yes, there was no urgency getting to the line in the 4th. I was yelling, hurry up!

I thought the play calling was much better today, but these guys seem to have there head elsewhere! There is no focus, and thats coaching as far as I'm concerned.

better... true. But that's not saying much.
Ronnie only got the call 16 times?
3rd & 2.. and we're in shotgun formation?
At least there were no stupid trick plays... but why oh why doesn't MM give Ronnie the freekin ball?

You know we don't really seem to know... Ronnie ran the ball what like 2 times in the second half???

It seemed like we were in a spread offense at the beggining of the 3rd and stayed with it till the end...

but what about our D???

I stataed before that our D ranking was misleading...our opponents only need to score to stay ahead....and since we socred 24 points today, our D was on their heels again in the 3rd and 4th quarter...

I hate to say it, but if and when our opponents need a score, our D will not stop them...

Zack was dumbfounded in the Post Game conference on the radio...He stated that he does not know how they stop the run all day then give one for 70 yds and a TD when our O score...and then he did not know how they let them go on another 80 yds drive...when we needed a stop...again stating that we are not a good team...

I am tired of hearing that from Zack year after year...

Sorry I had to vent...:boohoo:

I was moving today and missed the entire came

From what I have read, I didn't miss anything but what I can surmise as inept football playing and bad play calling.

I caught the last minute comments on "Football Night in America" and heard that someone called the entire Dolphins team out. I didn't catch who it was but it was implied that it was a player or coach.

Anyone have an idea what Costas and his 'boyz' were talking about?

The D looked bad in the second half. Will Allen and the taunting was the beginning.

I'm just so frustrated with this team.:fire:

I thought the play calling was worse today. Apparently, our coaches feel the need to out smart everyone. Run the freaking ball. 62 pass attempts?

On topic, I know the defense didn't give up. The got be badly on one play (which was mainly Crowder's fault as he got his outside shoulder blocked, which is the kiss of death for a LB), and looked to be worn down at the end, but I didn't think they quit.
IDK what was the deal with the offense getting to the damn ball?

Is the lack of urgency on offense, and lack of concentration (guiness world book of records for dropped passes) on offense, a leadership problem? I know most people want to put that on coaching, but when you're on the field, you respond to your leaders. Does the offense have a leader? Could this be the ulitmate case for Daunte going back sooner rather than later?

No, I did not hear that. They should have been called out weeks ago.

I really feel a bunch gave up today, but maybe as Holli said it was the heat? But the Packers did not seem to have a problem with it.

I don't think Harrington quit, I in fact thought he played pretty well, that one INT was all on him, but the other two were all on McMike.

Harrington was under some pressure today and thru the ball away, which I have not seen Culpepper do, so I can't say Culpepper would have done better.

It just seems that no one is on the same page on offense, and again, that's coaching to me.

This D has given up 7 TDs in the 2nd half this year with drives of "at least" 64 yds...they have been 80, 70, 64, 64, 70, 72 and 87 yds...

They have played bad against all but one team in the second half...you guessed it Tennesee...

I REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY ANSWERS. There is sooo much wrong with this team. The best play was by Sammy Morris. All effort. I say play him more. This team did give up. We just don't have any talent? 1-6.
