Even with a strong team like the Cards last year, he doesn't have near the guns with the Jets. But I do wish we would have kept him on. He had some growing pains to do for sure, but we'd well be better off than we are now.

You never really know. Any team can get on a roll. The Jets are on one right now. Fitz playing well and defense not allowing TD's. Cards didn't have a chance last year with the QB play at the end. Fitz/Marshall have been waiting for this moment all of there lives and are in a groove. Football is pretty easy when you have a QB/receiver combo that is almost automatic. It can take you far.

I just want to beat Buffalo and have a chance, I am under no delusions expecting a SB this year. I am happy to have a great chance to get back to the playoffs for the first time in what seems like forever and once in we have a chance. If we win Sunday we'll still be alive and that will be fun, it sure beats the last 4 years.

It would not surprise me at all if the Jets win the AFC. At least they have a shot.

Was a mistake letting him go after 2011, to end up with Philbin, and it was an even bigger mistake to not pursue him after 2014, instead sticking with Philbin.

You develop a young coach, see him have success as an interim . . . and choose not to hire him out right. He was EVERYTHING you could want as a face of the franchise HC and Miami blew it. I don't think people realize how poor of a decision that really was. Downright idiotic.

A fan of Bowles, but hate the Jets. They will go as far as Fitz takes them. Bowles is a top noch secondary coach with an elite DB and very good front 7. If the offense can score points early they will feast. While Ivory has been solid for them this year they don't feel like a ground and pound team anymore. If Fitz balls out they have a very good chance for a nice playoff run, especially after beating Pats in Foxboro (anyone think Revis' insider info made a difference?).

Bowles is a timid coach who didn't have his team prepared for a weaker bills team that basically were playing with back ups on defense.

This game and the game preparation was very Philbin like. The Jets had one of the weakest schedules they will have for a long time, I see them flaming out next year.

3 int came off his hands?

Fitz deserves his share of the blame(though it was really 2 INts, the 3rd was in an impossible situation) but Bowles had his team unprepared and lifeless. One team was affected by the wind and one was not, Buf had one player in the pass game that could hurt us and Bowles made no adjustments, he gave Ridley more carries than Ivory, he controls the D and made no adjustments and allowed Buf to possess the ball for 40 minutes. Bowles was reason #1 we lost though obviously there were many culprits.
