Drew Rosenhaus, on the local news (WSVN), stated that there might be a possibility that the Dolphins MIGHT be thinking of selecting Todd Gurley of George (RB) in the first round. Say what!?

Sorry if this topic has been posted already.

Might be a possibility? Really going out on a limb. He essentially said nothing. Saying something is possible isn't saying anything. Saying something might be possible is even less of nothing

it would make sense because the fins have a stable of receivers in camp already, Tommy Streeter, Laron Byrd, Jarvis Landry, etc they just need a speed merchant, (phillip Dorsett) in second could fit the bill.

Lamar Miller contract up after this season. Makes sense Big 3 WR gone by 14 not a fan of 1st round corners.

Is it just me or does he run a little high? Ala Eddie George?

He's tall by running back standards, so naturally he'll seem to run a little bit more upright. I will say, these taller running backs always seems to have a knack of being "more" injury prone . . . especially in regards to leg injuries.

But Eddie George, Arian Foster, Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte and Demarco Murray all have that type of "upright" running style. Some pretty big names there and also some pretty notable injury stuff.

It's a risk, nobody is denying. But you are rolling the dice on greatness. Full package at RB. No real weakness.

It's not just you. He runs upright. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. He reminds me of Dickerson (I've said it a few times). Similar running styles, similar vision, both were high school track stars, both naturally instinctive runners.

A more modern day comparison for me is Steven Jackson . . . except where Jackson was a more natural pass catcher, Gurley is generally a more explosive runner.

i've only seen bits and pieces of eric dickerson so maybe i'm off but i dont think dickerson ran with that kind of power...
