Per rotoworld the Dolphins have interest in Pittsburgh Steelers Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley.
While he was Head Coach of Kansas City he was too strong of a disciplinarian and lost the job, but not before getting G the most out of his offense. In Pittsburgh as OC, he initially clashed with Big Ben, but that lead to career topping numbers for Ben and Pittsburgh as well.
Haley has succeeded with big receivers like Dwayne Bowe, small receivers like Antonio Brown, scat backs like Jamaal Charles, and bigger backs like Leveon Bell. He molds his scheme to his personnel and he gets the most out of his players.
According to those in Pittsburgh, he has mellowed a lot from his Kansas City days. He consistently puts up good offenses and is an excellent Offensive Coordinator.
I think he is ready to become a good Head Coach. With Suh, Jones and the talent here in Miami, we should be able to attract a good Defensive Coordinator and let Haley build a top offense that excels at both the run and pass.
IMHO We would be wise to strongly consider Todd Haley.
