I am not sure I would take him over Brandin Cooks, or Allen Robinson of Penn State, but Lee is also one of the best punt returners around:

Wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit.

McShay believes that all of the top O-Lineman will be off the board, and the players we want will be gone. He thinks we may try to trade down, but won't be able to, so we will then go with the best Wide Receiver on the board. I would also be ok with this, if we have no shot at Zach Martin, Lewan and others. I like Cooks the most in terms of breakaway speed and excitement, but he is not the biggest guy around (kind of like Tavon Austin last year). Lee was great before his injury at USC, and he came back at the end of last year and looked like he didn't miss a step. I know CK really like Allen Robinson of Penn State. He has good size (6'3" 220).

Lee would be a stud but we have so many glaring weaknesses that I can see no way to justify overlooking them to take a wr in round 1

Love Lee though

I could live with that.

If Lee's healthy he's a beast. The fact that he might not be healthy would be the only thing holding me back.

I have been following Lee for a couple of years. He will be a very good WR2 in any NFL team.

For me, you can't have too many playmakers on offense. As long as we can also get a decent O-lineman or two I wouldn't be too upset.

P.S. Nice touch on the videos! They are nice and convenient. Excellent post.

Hard to objectively prioritize between the 3. They all look terrific. Robinson could easily be there when we pick in the 2nd round. Marqise Lee looks pretty special. He seems to do it all with a minimum of fuss. He could be a major asset to enhance Tannehill.
USC has a bad track record of producing Offensive pretty boys who looked great at college and then fail in the NFL. (Eg Matt Leinert, Mark buttfumble, Matt Barkley (shown zilch to date), Dwayne Jarrett, Patrick Turner, Robert Woods, Steve Smith (ex Giant not the ex Panther) etc). Even Reggie Bush has been a relative disappointment compared to what was expected. However, one of these days a USC guy is going to smash this, and Marqise Lee could be the man to do it.
Cooks looks a bit like Tavon Austin from last year. Clearly has blazing speed. I have been thinking O-lineman for months because we just have to get at least 2 good ones. However, I maybe wrong in assuming O-line for the top pick. Maybe if an elite WR prospect like Lee or Cooks is there and we take him. I think that Wallace, Hartline, Gibson and Matthews are a pretty good WR group. However, the possible addition of one of these guys makes us a pretty scary. Add Lazor's improved game calling and creativity, improved RB with the addition of Knowshon Moreno and better O-line protection for Tannehill and who knows?

I think we all remember the last time we took someone because he had put return skills...
