Toledo has Surgery

I belive Cameron said that even with this surgery, he should be healthy for training camp.

Yeah, I think I remember reading somewhere to that this wasn't a lengthy kind of procedure and that he should be ready by training camp and preseason.

I've pretty much had enough of Toledo and his constant injuries. I say if he has one more injury or setback, it should be time to cut our losses with him. You can only wait so long for a developmental player. The biggest knock on him coming out of college was his durability, I see no reason to expect him to suddenly remain healthy now.

he proabbly wont. i got blasted last year because I thought he was a reach based on his experience and injury history. I thought Johnathon Scott was a much better pick and all I got was some spiel about Bill parcells wanted him. just another guy that looks good in shorts and is the first casualty when the bullets fly.

I'm right there with you on this. Toledo is what he is: an athletic, quick, injury-prone tease. You give him one last fair shot at contributing, and then you cut him if he even so much as breaks a nail!

Well, if Cam says it, it must be true.

So, just one year?

Guys we jsut drafted toledo last year. He has been injured but last year wouldnt have been ready to start or contribue anyway. So really as long as he has learned mentally(his position, responsibilities, etc) really has lost any time as far as where he would be physically because he would not have gotten much PT if he were healthy. I say we have to let things play out and if he can stay healthy and add depth he can be an asset to our team and possibly crack the starting lineup if things fall his way and he stays healthy.
