Brady rookie card sells for record $2.25 million

Tom Brady's rookie card sold in March for $1.32 million, believed to be a record high for any football card, and now the same type of card has blown past that record, selling for $2.25 million on Friday.

Could be. The trading card industry was in a steep decline starting about 10-15 years ago. I am guessing the proliferation of online auctions and counterfeits pushed this decline.
