he should have been fired last year IMO but did have a solid year this season. thast franchise wont do anything until al davis keeps his hands out of everything

He should have been fired when he rearranged the jaw of an assistant coach. Not after going 8-8 with Jason Campbell, undefeated in the division and a terrible loss to Tony.

i think he got fired for some behind the scenes crap..i don't think this is a terrible move UNLESS they get someone better than cable but that's probably not going to happen...

I actually thought Cable has don't a fair job in Oakland. Bag o' Bones Davis needs to hang it up and sell the team. Poor Raider fans, sheesh.
