Tom Clements or Mike Sherman

I wish someone would leave me high and dry with Phin-Phans avatar!
 
I like Mike Sherman more play calling experience. I would really trust him with the offense and he would obviously be calling the plays.
 
Did Mike Sherman run a wide open kind of attacking offense?

The St. Petersburg Times has confirmed a KGW-TV Portland report that the Bucs are in the process of finalizing a contract to make Chip Kelly of Oregon their next head coach.

Many were skeptical of the story when it first appeared on the KGW-TV website, but beat reporter Rick Stroud confirms it's legit. Per Stroud, the sides are hopeful a deal will be completed "in the next 24-48 hours." Kelly met with Bucs management last week. Similar to Pete Carroll when he left USC for the Seahawks, it's believed Kelly will be or is currently being investigated for NCAA violations. He may be bolting just before Oregon is hit with sanctions.

Mike Sherman ran a balanced attack that always made the QB "look good". Very QB friendly.

What always stood out for me was his screen game. His Packers team could screen you to death...Reggie Bush anyone?
 
Sherman has many more years experience calling plays than Clements. Both I think are developers of QB's.
 
I've been wanting Clements since we started entertaining Philbin. However, Sherman is a solid choice for OC.
 
If we're going by total speculation I'd say if the reports about Kelly to TB fall through hire him as OC. Im all for having an action offense for once.
 
Either would be fine provided they aren't hell bent on bringing their QBs with them. I don't like Flynn or Tannehill.
