If the FO is doing what they are reportedly doing, which is saying here is what we are prepared to pay our overall #1 pick, who wants it ? It could be putting agents in a very tough spot. If they all say no, the we probably are stuck and end up paying something higher and possible holdout. If one goes outside of ranks and has their client accept this, it then puts the bargaining cap on everyone else under that amount. So it's a big risk for them to say no. Rumor is that Chris Long's agent is the most likely to agree to this from us, but who knows what discussions are taking place between agents on this. Not supposed to be happening, but you know it probably does. It would be best for us if that were true, because then other agents would realize this as well and then they'd all want to cut a better deal to get in at the #1 spot.
