may be this could be our chance to trade up?

“We’re fine with Colt McCoy as our quarterback,” Heckert told Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
“There’s five players we really like,” he said.

Good news!!!!! Now is going to be up to our FO....

don't sweat someone coming up for tannehill to #4 in front of you...the price will be too high for where those teams will be coming from and it won't happen...if tannehills the pick sit at #8 and he'll come to you

clevelands not trading out anyways...

Please don't tell me you believe this? Spin/smoke screen.

up to them to do what? the browns are the only real threat to draft Tannehill in front of us.

Why trade up for Tannehill? If the Browns aren't gonna take him then we trade down a couple of spots and get a 2nd rounder and still get him.

Tennehill is not worth a trade up. Cleveland wants to play like RAMS and get extra picks from possibly phins or KC or Seattle or the JETS. Dont play games with Cleveland. This is their way of figuring out your draft strategy relative to their second first round pick. Let someone else trade up if they want to.

There are more then one QB out there to draft.

I will say if the Browns traded back some how, that almost eliminates Miami from trading back and hoping Tannehill will still be there for em.

Thing is, Cleveland did the same thing with Brady Quinn a few years ago so it is possible. Ironically they drafted probably the best LT in the game in Joe Thomas and still got the QB they wanted by trading back up. Miami could end up doing the same thing . . . but the obstacle seems to be Cleveland. Then again, do you really wanna sweat Tannehill like that if you don't have the faith in him at #8 overall? If you're wiling to risk a QB you feel is a future franchise guy by not selecting him, he isn't really a franchise guy . . . is he?

Blackmon perhaps? That would be pretty bad ass. Then hope for Weeden in the second? just some thoughts

I like Floyd as much as Blackmon so not so much for me, especially knowing I would probably be giving up my 2nd rounder to make it happen.

Anyone stupid enough to trade up for Tannehill should just disconnect the keyboard or turn off their laptop.

Trade down. PERIOD.

I agree with you, it's a lot of value to give to move up. But he IS the #1 WR in the draft and we need a big WR in a huge way. Please let it be a QB or WR in Rd. 1!

nobody is going to trade up to draft Tannehill. He's a huge reach at #8, it would be crazy to even consider him earlier when you have so many top graded players that are ahead of him. That's why I'm not sure we are even going to draft him at #8. Like mentioned before, we could trade back in the first round, probably still get him and pick up another pick in the process. It's a gamble, but drafting him at #8 is a bigger gamble in my opinion.
