Tomlin wins coach ot the year!

Tomlin had a lot to work with, Coach Sparano turned around a team virtually every bod thought would be 3-13 at best and made them the 11-5 AFC East Champions. In terms of coaching, Sparano had a better year despite the Steelers going to the SB.
 
Tomlin inherited a Super Bowl team. Sorry, Ken Whisenhut's accomplishment is much more deserving.
 
I think this year
mike smith - made to playoff with a rookie coach,rookie gm and rookie qb
whisenhut - just cause he is in the SB
sparno - He did have parcells and a weak schedule so got to put him 3rd.

Somehow the AP Rookie of the Year sounds more legit than the Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Year.
 
Not really a surprise considering how difficult the Steelers schedule was this season.
 
too bad the dolphins chose cam cameron instead of whisenhut or tomlin, both who interviewd with the dolphins.

I guess it all a matter of perspective and as you can see from differant groups we have differant winners.

I think any of these coaches were deserving this year
Mike Tomlin
Bill Belichek
Tony Sparano
Mike Smith
John Fox
Jeff Fisher
John Harbaugh
I included Belichek because with all the injuries they had he still had them playing well.
i did not include Whisenhunt due to not including playoffs in this decision
