He's diagnosed with bipolar I believe. I would take a chance on him but I can't blame a coach for not wanting to do the same. The danger is worse than Manuel Wright. He's not a Manny Wright. He's more of a Demetrius Underwood, and THAT is scary.

He is trying out with Tampa Bay. I read it at the TCU site. They get the first shot at him.\

I think Sporting News magazine wrote up an article about him before the Feb. NFL combine...Amazing talent
I think now he is better with his medication. Alonzo Spellman, Dimtrius Underwood both with Bi-polar...often characterized by some with manic highs and extreme lows.
Lets hope Tommy Blake can lead a more normal life, hopefully for him it includes football if thats what he wants.

I have heard nothing, but I do recognize that Tampa brought him in for a tryout without the commitment of a contract. That is telling.

Spellman and Underwood did not turn out well...Underwood in particular.

Football is a high pressure lifestyle that one could easily argue just does not fit with that kind of condition.
