Is really going to tell us a lot about the character of this team. Although the Jets have lost much of their talent this season the players they do have are going to bew going ALL GUNS BLAZING on Sunday. I'm 100% positive that there isn't another NFL team that would love to stick a fork in Miami's slim playoff hopes more than the New York Jets. This is a game we should win, to keep our playoff hopes alive. I know this team is still building, but a loss to the Jets tomorrow, with playoff hopes still on the table, would negate a lot of the progress that this team has made over the last couple of weeks. It would be "same old Dolphins" type of material. I also think it's very important for Saban to stick a fork in the infamous "December swoon" talk as that is something that I feel is very important to this team and it's something he CAN accomplish in his first season. I just feel that if we come out flat in a game were we have something to lose, although it's very little, vs a Jets team, we should beat it's a step backwards. What do you guys think??? I know many of us are very confident going into this game. If the players think they can just show up we could get surprised. I hope Saban has taken care of that type of attitude. We shall see.

Good post. I agree 100 %. If they come in with the proper mentality we will win but if they come in with the menatality they had against Cleveland and the second game against Buffalo we will be in trouble. I know that they beat Buffalo, but they were favored and I think they came into the game with the wrong mentality which is why Buffalo got off to such a fast start

I think we get out of the gate quick on this game by going up early... The team knows that there is still a chance of getting to the post season and I do not see them dropping the "PERVERBIAL BALL" in this game...

However, I do agree with you that a loss tomorrow would negate all the progress we have made the past 3 weeks... If we DO LOSE tomorrow, then I also see a collapse in NE in the final game because the team will have lost their drive by then with nothing to play for...

But if we do lose tomorrow, I would also expect to see SAGE and CLEO getting playing time in the last 2 games...

THAT AIN"T GOING TO HAPPEN THOUGH!!! WE WILL finish at 9-7!!!

I don't agree here.........the progress is what it is. If it is as far along as the last 3 weeks have us thinking it is, then they will beat the Jets. However, a loss isn't going to negate anything.....it will just be a sign that the progress wasn't as far along as we thought it was.

Yeah I agree. You just had a better way of putting it than I did.
