Anyone out there in Dolphin land salivating over playoff scenarios are advised to come back to earth QUICKLY!

National TV - and NOTHING to lose at home against there most HATED rival (The Dolphins).

Remember getting blown up after have a 30 point lead on a Monday nighter against these creeps?

And us - what do we need?

WE need a 5 game win streak likely to make the playoffs.

We need a 9 game win streak to be world champions.

Tonights game will be VERY tough!

And each subsequent victory exponentially more difficult to obtain - including the last two regular season games.

Honestly - for me - short of an 7 game win streak here - where our Dolphins are in the Championship game - I am done with Philbin.

That's me.
 
Yeah, this is the jests super bowl no doubt about it.

Plus it is Rex's televised audition for his next J-O-B.

The Playoff race is just getting started though.

A lot of people are just looking at the numbers, the teams that are ahead of us all play each other still, or play the Packers.

Those LOSS totals are going to go up on ALL of those teams before the season is over.

The Fins just have to worry about themselves, and sweep the jests of course.
 
as much as a loss would hurt the fins, and their chances of a playoff. They would still technically be in the race. they would just have to win out. My heart probably wouldn't be able to take that scenario though. :lol:
 
It may be their SB. But we have something to play for and to me, that makes a team just as dangerous as a team with nothing to play for. If we show up flat, that's on us, not the Jets.
 
Man, winning last week against denver would have put Miami in nice shape going into tonight.
I do feel Miami will step it up against the jests and also use this primetime game to show the world who they really are.
 
Doesn't bother me. This season, we've already taken the best shots of Buffalo (week 2), Kansas City, Green Bay, Jacksonville, Detroit, and Denver.

The Jets aren't as good as any of those teams.
 
If the Dolphins can't sweep the jests,

then

we don't deserve to go to the playoffs

PLUS

we need to find a new head coach :d-day: :dolphins:

Miami can beat pretty much any team in the league but can also lose to any team too. If Miami plays well they will win tonight, if not they will give a bad team a chance.
 
I'm totally nutted up for this game! I think too many people are eating the cheese thinking this is gonna be some kind of blow out! If we're not careful, the Jets could definitely steal this game. Remember last year when they ruined our season? Man, if that happens again, my mancave is gonna need some serious TLC after tonight. In the end though I think we pull off a close one. It wouldn't be so close if we had Mike McCoy coaching us. He'd know how to beat the hell out of the jets. I'm worried!
 
Who cares if it is or is not their superbowl and who cares what happened last year. Here's something to sip; they are much worse than they were last year and we are much better than we were last year.
