Sorry for overposting the FSU guys in the draft, but TC is supposedly doing well in camp and surprising people.

I think he will be there in the 6th and I would not be surprised if the Dolphins look strongly at him. Remember, Parcells got Pat Watkins in the 5th, he knows the FSU system and knows the DBs run an NFL scheme that he likes.

I think Tony could be a scary nickleback. He can stick on a man, that is about all he did was man D in college. He may be undersized, but I think the Fins or Steelers take him if he is there late.

May be a possibility with our 2nd 7th round pick. I would love to get him as an un drafted Free Agent.

how is his vert because he is really short to be a CB at 5'9
He did not get a combine invite. He's 5ft-9in 180lbs. Has a 39in Vert so that makes up for some of his lack of height. Also i know from being a hard core Noles fan that he is a BIG PLAY CB.

oh ok thats a good Vert at 5'9 for a cb if you dont have a good vert you are not going to be a good NFL CB he might even go undrafted

no no no no, the corner to get from fsu came back for his senior season, Patrick Robinson. Tony's nickname up here is tony toast and for good reason. Teams try him deep on a consistent basis and most of the time he gets burnt. No to Tony Carter.

Man that's crazy. First off, you go to FSU and diss our players like that? LOL.

But seriously, the scheme at FSU means that the DB's have no safety help a lot of times and get put on an island. TC did very well at shutting down his side of the field, and the main reasons he would get beaten this season was on the poor safety play more then him. He is a very good 1 on 1 defender.

you're probably right i was a bit out of line dissing him like that, but i've watched him for two years now and i honestly don't like him for the dolphins.

I like Graham Gano, FSU's kicker/punter with maybe a 6th/7th rounder. He has a way of spinning his punts so they stop inside the five yard line. He can replace Brandon Fields, and he can also be used to kick it on kickoffs, and we can just have Carpenter handling Field Goals. Gano, can also kick FG's if Carpenter gets hurt.

When a kicker can do what Graham Gano can you'll be amazed at how much better a defense can be when they get to defend 96 yards compared to 80. If we draft Gano that might be the best pick in the draft.

I love Gano. He won us games last year. I don't know if the Fins need him due to Carpenter though. Gano is going to want to kick too, he is just too good at it.
