Has he said whether he was ready to start coaching again? If he's ready that's who I want as my head coach.

Good God No. Thats all i am going to say about that.

no way...i cant stand listening to him on sunday night football let alone the spokesperson for my football team

dierdorf...i loathe that guy...thiesmanns a clown also with his spray tan and what not...

Tony is one of the better defensive football minds, up with their with Bill Belicheck...Dude is a great coach.. But this team needs offense. The league is about offense..

Thats why I want Andy Reid.

I would kick Dan Dierdorf repeatedly. I simply loathe that guy. I guess Dungy doesn't annoy me that much,
I just start getting annoyed when men are elevated to "Moral Spokesman". I certainly don't want him coaching this team.

I think he's just fine where he is. Getting slobbered on by ESPN sycophants.

The man is a great coach. He knows how to get the job done. He is a defensive minded coach and the league is geared more towards offense but defense win championships. He would definitely fix the problems we have on defense therefore the patriots won't be able to run up the score on us. I say if he wants to coach again bring him in, I'm officially on the Tony Dungy bandwagon and he is a man of God.

Dungy is an interesting choice.

Thing is he never had an offense worth much in Tampa, it was all defense and his best Tampa team had Shawn King at starting QB. So his entire time there he was basically content with Dilfer and then King at QB.

When he went to Indy he inherited freaking Peyton Manning, enough said. All he had to do was make the D worth anything and they finally won a Superbowl.

Again, interesting choice but I dont see how he's the right fit.

tony dungy is one of the best coaches that ever coached in the NFL . people that say no to him are just ignorant about football. he created two monster teams each one a SB champ.

I dont get it. How is he a defensive minded coach? Indys D was horrible. They needed to have a qb like Manning to put up 30 to 40 a game to win anything!

no thanks, he couldn't win in TB with "the team he put together" yet Gruden comes in right away and wins a sb, and he had Peyton in his prime in Indy, I could have coached that team to the SB

Tony is another vanilla scheme, keep it close and win it in the 4th quarter bum of a coach. He won a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning, period. Look at what Jim Caldwell has done with Peyton Manning and without Peyton Manning. Do you think Caldwell is a good coach?

Tony created the Colts as much as Gruden created the Tampa team that won the Super Bowl.
