Tony is known for "tinkering". Well, Tony is changing his approach with the OL. He is going to do something different. He is going to do nothing. That is right. He is going to do nothing regarding changes on the OL. I give him credit for being different. Now it is time to see if that will work. What do you guys think? Will doing nothing lead to something?:idk:

He tinkered when he didn't need to and isn't going to tinker when he should.

I just can't believe how big Columbo is and he was still getting thrown around like a rag doll. He absolutely cannot start.

Hopefully, he will at least put Jake back in at LT by Monday night game. :d-day:

Is it bad to hope Colombo comes up with a nagging injury soon?....ok yeah, thought so. Never-mind.

This guy is NOT a head coach and Ireland has made some terrible personnel moves. I blame Ross for this draft. This FO knew they were lame ducks short of a miracle season this year. They did not draft for the future or they would have picked Ingram and Mallet. We could have had O'Hara or Gurode - either would do as well or better than Pouncey. I'm sorry you don't spend the 15th pick of the 1st rd on anything but a play maker and a center is NOT a playmaker.

After 4 years we have one of the worst OL's in the NFL and certainly much worse than NE and the Jets. Brady rarely gets touched - Henne is going to get killed from the right side.

Youre absolutely right. I think he is changing and he will not mess with the OL, and in doing so, will get his arse canned. Making changes when they arent needed (something he does in the past) and not making changes when they are needed (something he will do now) isnt the formula for winning. Good, I dont want him to do anything so it will pretty much assure he gets canned!

Maybe now that Parcells is gone he is going to do things his way. We all see a huge change already in offensive philosophy. He is allowing Daboll to go downfield more and open things up. Lets hope this continues.

Well he is allowing others to do something in that case. And again, that is him changing. And that actually is a good thing. But I struggle to think he can overcome his current approach on the OL.

its more mental than it is no talent.

football is a mental game. its hard to be mental when its preseason and you know your job is not in jeapordy and your being asked to play most of these preseason games.

Agree, these O-line issues drive me crazy because this is his specialty.
