Fire him. I don't think his comments are that big a deal but fire him anyways, he's terrible at MNF.

I caught that live. I did take a split second to think if it was racest, but I thaught it wasnt. If it was chinese instead of spanish... maybe... or if he said something about mowing his lawn, then ok, but no.

it wasnt offensive to me, and it didnt seem that he ment it that way. He just tried to think of the most common thing for him to say/hear on a regular basis and used it. Im sure he has people pick up his dry cleaning. nothing major.

Consitering the former broadcasters they have had on MNF, hes just fine. not everyone likes him, but he always has something to add to the conversation. Hes ok with me.

i heard it and knew it would piss someone off, although i didn't think it was a big deal

Listen, I'm hispanic (Mex/American) and did not take any offense to it. I too, heard him say it live and for whatever reason I did not assume he was saying it toward's hispanic people. I actually thought he was apologizing for thinking he may have said some curse words in spanish and I actually laughed about it....

But I must say, it seems like the guy is simply standing/sitting in the broadcast booth. Like someone else said, he doesn't add anything to the commentary. There's no one like Al Michaels for a Monday Night Football game.

Should he be fired for the comment? No.
Should he be fired for his incompetence to bring anything special to Monday Night? Probably.

I hate to see people lose their jobs, but the guy is nothing special as a commentator. Maybe he should just stick to PTI.

Therefore, I will vote undecided. But again, It has nothing to do with his comment(s).

Honestly, they need to get some professionals out there like Joe Buck & Aikman. It's Monday Night Football, not the circus. Yesterday's game was a classic, one of the best MNF's in the past something years.

But the commentary was far from entertaining, you kind of get annoyed by the stupid things they say and they repeat themselves over and over again; like how many times did Kornheiser say that the game had a little bit of everything and about how great the game was? 30 times?

in the preseason, tirico and jaws did a game without him in the booth and i thought they did a really good job. i really like what each of them has to say, but cringe when kornheiser opens his mouth.

I'm hispanic and wasn't the least bit insulted. Put me down on the don't fire him for the comment but fire him because he's awful list. I wasn't sure why they hired him to do commentary in the first place because I always found him irritating.

His comment was crude, but what should get him fired is the fact that he is a smug little twerp who adds nothing to the games. He sounds like an unfunny Woody Allen, only more effeminate.

I don't understand why this comment would even seem offensive. He said that a person either said in Spanish, ". . .either he said he's not going to be caught, or please pick up my dry cleaning tomorrow." It seems to imply that a Hispanic asked Kornheiser to pick up the Hispanic's dry cleaning. What does that have to do with Hispanics picking up anyone's drycleaning?

I hate Tony Kornheiser with a passion. ESPN is bad enough without him, I actually find it difficult listening to commentary on MNF.

You need a good color man to be on MNF, esp those nights that the game gets out of hand. I love Korn, and I think he's a good addition. He sure is a lot better than what they put out there the last several years.

PTI is a great show too.
