That wraps up the draft. I don't know why another wr. But lippet is a football player, played both ways at Michigan state some. Helped out at corner.

We called him as a Cornerback...............

"Was the team MVP and finished the 2014 season as both starting wide receiver and starting cornerback."

He will be our kicker killer:

Either way he could be solid. I watched him develop at State and love his work ethic. If he's a DB he can go up against those taller receivers and TE's, if he's a WR he uses his body and length well to nab passes and can long stride to eat up yards once he's in space. Either way I like him.

Came here to post the same thing, I see you are from Kalamazoo, which part?

he is definitely coming in as a CB... like the kid, dont love him all in all.... lots lots to work on.

thoughts on him developing as a outside CB for us though???? anybody have an analysis or heard any on him yet????

NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock: "If I was in the NFL, I'd really want to grind him a little bit and see if he could be an NFL-quality corner because the length intrigues me. With all those big-bodied wide receivers, more and more teams are looking for corners that are 6-feet and above.''

Spartans' coach Mark Dantonio has confidence Lippett can play both ways in the NFL.
"He's not going to get beat deep because he's got two or three inches on most people, very long arms, and he's got great deep ball judgment,'' Dantonio said. "I think people have a pretty good idea about where [Lippett] is at as a wide receiver and have a good feel for him.''

Nice if he can end up being a larger corner for us. Sounds like the dude knows how to work hard at least.

I cant believe we got him. So pumped. Was at the gym this morning talking football and said this kid would be the steal of the draft.....as a cb...played cb and wr down the stretch and was as valuable to MSU as Waynes. Kid has Sherman traits all day. Incredible!

So he's officially a corner for us? Looks like a slot and a boundary taken. Brice McCain or the other guy are on the bubble.
