Tony Pape....kep seeing his diary notes every week on the NFL phins site in Europe how they were doin....guess his passport isnt in order.
 
Did he ever express his reasoning to public on why he decided not to show up to camp and retire?
 
He wouldn't make the team anyway, but i guess he just couldn't take football anymore.
 
Many players want to go out on a high note...that season in NFLE may have been the highest note Pape figured he was going to reach.

Are you kidding? As bad as our O-Line has been, I think Bobo the Clown would stand a legitimate shot at making the team. Pape played for us last year and had a nice run in NFLE... he might have been a longshot, but he had a legitimate chance to make the team.

No he wouldn't make the team, that is a fact. We already have Carey, McDougle, McIntosh, Alabi, St.Clair and Cook. All of them would make it before he would.
 
Dude, as weak as our O-Line is, these guys could make the team:
