Tony Sparano Luncheon Speech

Great speech by Sparano. Everything he said was the truth and he has me pumped up for the season. I also love his line about if you are not with them it doesn't matter, they will still win. Finally he takes a shot at the naysayers.

Well they've pretty much known each other since they were teenagers...so high school sweethearts pretty much. There was a story about it on ESPN about it three years ago.

He seems to be a pretty good guy. As a coach, I hope he puts the mediocrity of the last two seasons behind us and leads the team back to its winning ways.
 
He's not exaggerating. This is a very talented team. The defense doesn't really have a weakness and the offense has pretty good skill position players. If Henne plays as well as he has during the preseason and the O-line shores up some of their problems, this is a playoff team. Across the board we are a more talented team than the Pats.
However, the season hinges on the play of Henne and the O-line. IF Henne elevates his play with this new offensive philosophy, I fully expect them to be competing for the division.
 
If we come out in game #1 as 53 confident angry men, we can't lose. Emotional intensity wins the close games. The Steelers and Raven play angry.
We must want it more than they do.
 
I want to beat up on pats like detroit just did. I got a funny feeling that things are not all that in patsy land. The DB's are suspect IMO. They might not recognize our offense at all. in fact, we have been so vanilla in set ups, i could see us having them so fkn confused brady will be back in the pocket all game. just cover welker. hit that little biotch! ring his damn neck again!

Thats the same philosophy Osama Bin Laden had. He probably said something similar to what you posted to his little group of morons. He definately didnt win. He got ****ing destroyed.

I think welker is hurt and will miss the 1st game..
You know the fins haven't forgotten the season finale last year
it is fitting to begin with the patsies..

The defense should be able to pressure brady
all you got to do is get in his face.

I suspect a low scoring game like a 20-17 or lower
