Tony

How quickly people forget the way the team FLAT OUT QUIT on Tony in 2010 and stayed quit on him in 2011.

This is a joke.

Tony lost the players as badly as any coach I've ever seen. Late 2010 to early 2011 was about the worst football I've ever seen out of the Miami Dolphins. It was worse than this.

Please stop the insanity. Tony is dumb as a box of rocks, threw his players under the bus for poor execution of. dinosaur Henning's archaic playcalling that was so predictable that opposing defenses admitted they could predict 90% of what was coming. Did I mention that as a demoted jest OC he was the worst in the league and now demoted again, he's back to being a mediocre line coach for the crappy Raiders? Make a suggestion like this again and I swear to god I'll red rep your ass!

This. This. This.

God damn the mods here do such a laughably ****ty job keeping the trolls at bay.
This site doesn't deserve any money to stay online.

And this is the downside to freedom of speech.........

This all I could say about Sparano Vs Phillibin. They both Suck.

i miss tony. Atleast we had a physical team under tony, a team with cajones. Philbins team is getting softer by the day, and now the team is implodiing because philbin hasnt put 1 leader in the lockerroom to keep things at bay. Very sad.

I wouldn't say I miss Tony, the one thing Philbin does clearly have over Tony is the willingness to score touchdowns in the redzone while Tony clearly settled for field goals. That was Tony Sparano's biggest downfall and IMO the biggest reason he became expendable as a HC. Had Tony's offense been able to put the ball in the endzone from the redzone a little more, there's a chance he could still be coaching this team right now, and we would have probably made the playoffs post 2008.

But people laughing at the notion that Philbin is some superior coach to Sparano is head scratching. To be fair, Joe's only been on the job a season and a half . . . but that first season under Tony trumps anything Joe has done so far, and it's not close and I do believe Joe has bigger input in personnel decisions so he's had a say in what the team looks like.

Its amazing what a good QB can do.Belli check was a loser until Brady dropped in his lap. Sparano's best yr was with Pennington at QB.
The Chiefs are the toast of the NFL with the addition of Alex Smith.
Good QB's have a trickle down effect.
Fact is, Ryan Tannehill has had a significant role in the last 3 losses

People can blame the oline all they want, they can blame the refs all they want, they can blame Mike Sherman, Kevin Coyle, Joe Philbin and Jeff Ireland all they want . . . . if they refuse to believe that Tannehill wasn't a major factor in the last 3 losses then I can't help them. No, it doesn't mean it's time to give up on Tannehill, but he could of been the reason we won all 3 of those games, instead he's one of the bigger if not biggest reason we lost them. He'll be under the spotlight tonight for the world to see, hopefully he puts on a show.
